G's 4-Month Photos

A while back we had photos taken of G. They're his 4-month photos, even though he was technically older than that since our session kept getting pushed back due to sickness and such. These were all taken by Chris and Adrienne Scott, who we are just so stinkin' fond of. (Really, they just won't go away, and keep wanting to take photos of us. Maybe we just that sexy.) They've done our engagement, wedding, maternity, newborn, and 4-month photos. We've got two more sessions lined up of G in the future.

I'd love to post them all here to share, but here are some of my favorites.

G did great until we tried to put him in the leaves. Then he kinda freaked out. It took a lot of consoling to get any photos out of him after that, poor baby.

He's already grown a ton since this session, so I can't wait for the next one.

Finally, a bit more cooperation. Not quite the giant smile I'm looking for, but pretty darn cute. Plus, a moment of softness and luv with Daddy.

time for some holiday pics... or not

G just hasn't wanted to cooperate with getting some Christmasy pics taken. The above photo is really the best so far. Hoping he'll cooperate more this weekend.

I mean, come on, look at that face below. That's a face that knows what you want and won't cooperate anyway.

Or the presents are just too distracting.

This is the best one taken with a Santa hat. Really.

On the plus side, he's getting really good at sitting!

There's really not much more to it than that.

Those are totally my eyebrows, by the way. The right one works perfectly, while the left one twists and refuses to lay straightly. They're a bitch to pluck, but at least he won't have that problem.

My son has so much attitude. He knows what he likes and doesn't like, and he's quick to tell you. He's also grown a lot of hair in the past three days. It's all kinda of wonky in these photos.

He's got dark circles under his eyes here, even though he's just taken a two-hour nap. This boy loves to sleep. He goes 10 hours at night, with a morning nap of 1 hour, a lunch nap of 2-3 hours, an afternoon nap of at least 1 hour, and an early evening nap of 30 minutes. Sometimes two of those naps will run together into a giant nap of over 3 hours. It's crazy.

He's getting awesome at sitting, both tripod and unsupported. He sat by himself for over 20 minutes today while we read (and played) with books.

I know I'm biased, but he's just so stinkin' cute.
